Let's start #BridgingTheGap

Join us at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club in Toronto!

The BridgingTheGap to Youth Forum connects emerging young leaders with decision-makers—from business, government and community sectors—to bridge opportunity gaps and co-create solutions to the challenges they face.

BridgingTheGap Forums strive to ensure the voices of future leaders are present, which includes those from marginalized and minority groups—such as youth from low-income areas, Indigenous Peoples, rural areas and young women—who may currently face access barriers, to give them a platform to be heard, share their ideas and develop their skills.

Empowering a Global Conversation

BridgingTheGap Forums is proud to partner with the Global People’s Summit to present the 2019 BridgingTheGap to Youth Forum around the 74th United Nations General Assembly to a global audience.

The Global People’s Summit is an initiative organized by the Humanity Lab Foundation and the United Nations Office of Partnerships to make the United Nations, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and global decision-making more accessible for all. The 2018 Global People’s Summit had participation from 174 countries, Global People’s Hubs in 44 countries, 26 remote interviews and a global online reach of 100 million.

By leveraging new technology and digital media with the Global People’s Summit, our 2019 BridgingTheGap to Youth forum will be live-streamed around the world—creating an opportunity for emerging leaders, regardless of their location, to directly engage with key decision-makers, world leaders and influencers—and putting the ideas of young people at the center of critical discussions that shape the future.
